The most dangerous refugee land crossing takes place from Mexico to the United States. With politicians dangling the prospect of bipartisan border legislation that does not recognize the strife of the people that are truly suffering from a withering immigration policy. Paseo Fronterizo is a short dance film dedicated to the lives lost crossing the border by land simply to seek refugee. The moving body pressed against the landscapes which symbolize a past left behind and the uncertainty of a future ahead. The question remains… who truly suffers at the hands of these imaginary borders?

Look up who your local candidates are and where they stand on immigration and border policies, who they are receiving donations from, and make sure you reconsider voting for any candidate regardless of their position if they are currently receiving funds from AIPAC.
