Inspired by life’s natural quirkiness, aisha reddick (she/her) creates from the inherent silliness of being — as the world moves through darkness, aisha believes in the necessity to ground ourselves in all aspects of humanness, including humor, so that we recognize spaces that do not reflect that and work to shift it. aisha’s choreographic work has been shared throughout southern California in spaces and with people who endlessly replenish her creative juices. Aside from creating, aisha is also a teaching artist at various studio, high schools and institutions. Her aim in being in multiple places has always been to reconnect the community to art and movement.
