This is a call to action for all young people to make their voices heard, and a call to our older generations to not just vote for themselves. Our goal is to highlight the power of young voices and encourage altruistic voting to create a brighter future for everyone. Dance to a better tomorrow!

For young and new voters: Studying propositions and candidates is a great place to start in preparing for election season. You can also write notes on your research and bring them with you to the polls to feel more prepared as a voter!
Marc Caro-Willcox (he/him) is a native San Diegan and multi-hyphenate artist. Choreographic credits include: She Loves Me (SRT); Reefer Madness (OB Playhouse); Tuck Everlasting, Xanadu, The SpongeBob Musical (CPH); Newsies, Seussical, Cinderella, The Lightening Thief (SDJT), The Little Mermaid, Willy Wonka (YAT). Marc currently serves as the Board President of the Coronado Playhouse, a producing artist for Blindspot Collective, and the choreographer for the award winning show choir program at Helix Charter High School.
Jess McNely (she/her) is a collaborative dance-maker based in San Diego, CA. As an MFA student, her research focuses on elevating foundational American club dances to affirm them as fine art, ensuring that the history of these dances is shared and preserved. Through its interactive and empowering movement vocabulary, she uses Whacking as her primary dance language. Jess dances with Culture Shock, THAE, and Whacking SD to perform works that are infused with joy, aiming to foster a strong sense of community within the San Diego dance scene.
